This is the first of many posts we will be doing about Christianity and the Church abroad.
If you are reading this, you probably know us from our time in the states. You might even attend our home church in Dallas, Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
Here’s the TLDR — We are Christians. Adam and I grew up in the Church. We try to follow the teachings of Jesus in our daily life in Prague.
Our goal here is to be a light to the world. This is not always easy when living in a post-communist, Slavic country with different traditions, culture, and language.
For many years the Czech Republic has been described as one of the most secular and atheist countries in the world.
During our outreach, we have learned that most people here are not actually atheist. They believe in a higher power, but do not want to align with one philosophy or another. We have had several opportunities to happily share the gospel.
This is one of the reasons why Adam and I are drawn to living in Prague. We are called to love God and love the people of the Czech Republic.
